It's been just a weird week. Kristy has been out of the office, and with my Mom visiting, it seems like everyone's schedule is a bit off. I'm in week #2 of Weight Watchers. Week 1 I lost 6 lbs. This week I'm having no trouble sticking with the program, but I'm struggling with it a little. I feel tired all the time. I hope this passes soon. I have way too much to do to be tired all the time.
Medical stuff keeps creeping up on us. My body must know it's nearly time for the surgery. Doctors visit after visit.... ugh. No fun. But, I'm not "sick", and that's the important thing. Somehow (knock on wood) we've all managed to miss this assortment of bugs and flus that have been going around.
I've decided to participate in the Apprentice Challenge at LittleDreamerDesigns. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. I figured that, since I've never had any formal design training, this might be a good thing. I'm curious at how well (or badly) I will do.
Today I saw a wonderful thing. I was outside the school waiting for Nicholas... and he walks out with his nose in a book. It was so great to see that. He's nearly done with "Diary of a Wimpy Kid part II". He loves it.
We are gearing up for the PurplePaperFlowers.com official Grand Opening next weekend. I'm excited about that! Stay tuned for all sorts of fun stuff and happenings.
Well, off to do a 2nd grade poster on Jackie Robinson....lol

Blog Neglect- GUILTY
Yes, I am completely guilty of blog neglect. Hopefully now that I have some time to breath I can catch up a little bit. Sorry for falling so far behind!!
Since last post... Vegas for PMA. Was a great show! I did manage to get over my staph infection, though I think the scar is going to be there forever. LOST money at the Blackjack tables... but all in all a fun trip.
Then... off to Annaheim for CHA. I can't even begin to describe what an amazing trip that was. I have to extend a special thanks to Anthony at CHA for all the help and dealing with my frantic phone calls... and to Chris at Canson (you know who you are!) for all the entertainment. We gave away 3,000 "Get Digi With It" pink shirts. The workshop and seminar was a blast. Everything was just over all great. Well, except Paula, on her very first CHA trip, got the flu and had to stay in bed the whole time. That completely sucked.
Came home... slept for about a week it seems. And am now in major crunch mode at work. SOOO much to do after the show, I just don't know where to start!
On a personal note, things at PPF are great. We have a great community there and a steady stream (finally) of tutorials going up. All is good.
And, after seeing all the pictures from CHA, and a major wake-up call from Doc Walter, I have begun some life changes. I started Weight Watchers this week. My goal is to lose 65 lbs... 30 of it by July. So far so good. And, I am going under the knife next month to finally have my long awaited breast reduction (yay!!). And, while they've got to be in there anyway, I am having a tummy tuck. :) I have never been so excited and scared about something at the same time.
Ben is turning 6 on Saturday. That makes me so sad! My little baby boy is growing up. Needless to say, I've been spending lots of extra time in the cuddle department this week. We've ordered a Spiderman bounce house for his party, and I can't wait to see what his cake looks like. Our cake lady always does these amazing cakes for their parties, and I'm dying to see what she creates for this one.

In Vegas and ready to Come Home!!
So, I'm in Vegas for PMA, and it's been great! The show has really been fantastic. We are on a roll and have some fantastic projects up our sleeves. BUT.... I have managed to get a staph infection on my ankle!! Plus, being in Vegas doesn't help... it's so dry out here I get all swollen up anyway. So, I have elephant ankles and a big ugly infection on it. Ladies, be careful when shaving your legs... good grief! It's not like I even have a good story to tell!
Oh well.... played Blackjack twice... so far lost $200, but won $400... so I guess I'm up.... I'm so over Vegas.... I wanna go home!!
